you know that we have ALL grown up when you suddenly don't see all your friends for long stretches at a time. those who were studying while you have taken the step into the working world, are now working as well. all previously free time has been taken up by other more impt priorities in life - earning money, getting married etc. when your friends don't update their blogs or comment on yours, when they don't reply almost immediately to your texts etc. we have grown up, and leading our own lives.
a part of me wondered if getting attached meant that i was spending too much time with the boy, but then i thought about it more carefully and realised that it was because i AM spending a large amount of time with the boy AND that the guys/girls who were once studying (with much time to spare) have all gone on into the working world, while others also have found other things in their lives to focus about. it's kind of sad in a way, that we are not spending enough time together as compared to the past (which was way to excessive!! :p in a good way though!!) and yet, also strangely joyous, as i know that we have kind of done well (some better than others) and have moved into a more serious phase in our lives. and that through everything we have experienced (together or otherwise) have made us slightly better people than we were at 16 or 18.
now, to more and hopefully slight frequent meet ups.... :)
i acutally miss nic's random perverted-ness, ja's laughter and shooting herself in her foot antics, weihao's smiles, jk's random but funny comments at the most appropriate times, xuan's jacking of nic, heng's jacking of nic and terrorising of the girls, kang and seng's slightly less perverted but highly inappropriate ramblings and all other innocent bystanders. (speaking of which i have at least half a dozen of innocent bystanders to finish) and i miss bubbles and her bubbliness + high on coffee + lame + C/J/K pop loving self.
